While album cover and band logo might mislead you into thinking that this was a Metalcore deal, Meridian Dawn might surprise you with their Melodic Death Metal. The band taps into all the good traits of the Finnish scene, boasting greats such as Insommnium or Wolfheart, and establishes a perfect balance between melody and fury. Personally, they remind me a lot of Godgory from Sweden.

German Melodic Death Metal. Non-stop blast beats & tremolo riffs as well as fantastic melodies - what more could you want? FFO Amon Amarth (but better!) & Insomnium. My only problem is it is far too short for a full length & more is needed... :) Lucky I bought their entire discography! Highly recommended!!!
